The Southwest Georgia Cornhole League is back again and hosting a tournament that spans over the weekend. Terms of Participation Agreement
PROMOTION:
The Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce River Town Days Festival will place event advertisements with media outlets servicing the region.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
This is a one-day event and you are expected to participate all day. The festival will open at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and close at 9:00 PM. You are able to start breaking down at 9 PM Saturday evening.
VENDOR SPACE AND RULES:
Set up time will be Friday, March 11 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 or Saturday between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m., unless prior arrangements have been made to set up earlier. All spaces will be assigned at the discretion of the RTD committee and will be located in a prime area for main events. Every effort will be made to accommodate concession vendor needs. A vendor shall sell only food items approved by the RTD committee. Sales shall be confined to the assigned vendor area – no hawking will be allowed throughout the festival grounds. Vendors will be responsible for handling their sales/cash transactions and Georgia Department of Revenue Sales Tax remittance. The RTD committee will not sell food tickets. The use of noise-making devices or public address systems will be prohibited. Concession vendor spaces shall be maintained in a neat, safe, and orderly condition and all rubbish and trash shall be removed and placed in nearby dumpsters on a regular basis. Vendors shall ensure that all signage, guy wires, awnings, and appliance or extension cords are all in good working condition and shall not allow any such item to be placed in a manner that is subject to hazard to pedestrians or employees. Vendors shall place all hot cooking devices in an area away from pedestrian traffic.
LIABILITY:
Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce, the River Town Days Festival committee, and the City of Bainbridge, its employees, and volunteers, from any and all claims made against same, including, without limitation, all costs, attorneys’ fees arising out of or in connection with (i) any structure erected by Vendor, (ii) any apparatus, equipment or personal property used by Vendor, (iii) any act or omission to act of Vendor, its agents, invites, participants, representatives, employees, servants and agents and (iv) any claims made on account or resulting from Vendor’s participation in the River Town Days Festival.
FAILURE TO HOLD EVENT:
In the event that River Town Days is not held due to a natural disaster or for any reason whatsoever, the participating vendor shall be entitled to a refund of the fee is paid to reserve its vending space and the participating vendor hereby releases the Bainbridge-Decatur County Chamber of Commerce and its officers, directors, representatives, employees, volunteers, and agents from any and all claims which might arise in consequence of River Town Days not being held.
MISCELLANEOUS:
The participating vendor agrees to accept as conclusive and binding the decision of River Town Days Festival as to any dispute between participating vendor and any other participating vendor or any person attending the River Town Days Festival as to any matter not covered by the Terms of Participation Agreement.
